About Us

The concept of personalized wearables was started by Tamara Remedios who enjoys seeing her name on items. In 1999 it started as a valentine's idea and marketed on her college portal, Getouttoday.com. The concept sat in the back pages of the college site for nearly 5 years. All of a sudden, Valentine's Day 2004, the idea started to catch on and several designs were sold on thongs and boxers!

In March 2004, a decision was made to create Wear-my-name.com - "don't just say it, wear it!" Since then, every 6-8 weeks we introduce new designs - and we've added so much more than romantic designs - including St. Patrick's Day shirts, Bridal Hoodies and even Newborn baby gifts.

Many of our ideas have even been suggested by our customers who were creative enough to ask for custom designs. In fact, we love to challenge our customers to customize our current designs and make it their own!
